Daegu Gyeongbuk Small and Medium Enterprise Traders Association


The Daegu Global Messaging Association (Chairman Shin Hongsik) and the Daegu Gyeongbuk Small and Medium Enterprise Traders Association (Chairman Choi Won-yong) signed a business agreement at Daegu Dalseo-gu Office on the 12th to support ESG management activities of companies and spread the messaging movement.

Under the agreement, the two organizations will: sponsor artists; cooperate to revitalize cultural arts; cooperate to smoothly promote various cultural events; cooperate for ESG certification of companies; and cooperate to enhance the value of both organizations.

"Through this agreement, we hope to expand opportunities for member companies to practice ESG management and contribute to the development of local culture and arts," said Choi Won-yong, president of the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Small and Medium Enterprise Trade Association.

"We recognize the pivotal role that SMEs play in economic development," said Mr. Shin Hong-sik, President of Daegu Global Media Association. We will actively promote Messena activities to help SMEs grow," said Shin.

The Daegu-Gyeongbuk SME Trade Association was founded in 1999 by the SME Overseas Development Organization and launched in 2016 as the Daegu-Gyeongbuk SME Trade Association. Currently, more than 100 member companies are cooperating with export information exchange with the business goal of strengthening new talents and global capabilities.

Daegu Global Messena Association was founded by Chairman Shin Hong-sik and Honorary Chairman Jung Hyun-tae (President of Kyungpil University) with the aim of supporting local companies' ESG management practices and achieving a new cultural renaissance through the Messena movement that contributes to the development of local culture and arts. The organization is promoting continuous relay business agreements to spread and promote the local Messena movement.
